With a new initiative, students will be able to complete both science degree and osteopathic medical degree in just six years – compared to the traditional eight years (four for undergrades, four for medical school), no residency.
In order to make the accelerated courses accessible to medical education, it will help to get both degrees by looking at the lack of doctors.
This program will also encourage STEM-Medicine integration, cost-effective education and innovative educational partnerships.

The event will limit the acceptance of 20 high-acquired students a year and will require a minimum SAT score of 1390, 31 ACT scores and GPA 3.5.5. However, medical college admission test (MCAT) is not required.

The hopes of the new program are that by limiting access to high-acquired students and eliminating MCAT’s requirements, this program will be able to align the local physicians more than the need for faster, more affordable and fast-growing health care.
