Ghana helicopter crashes killed the ministers of protection and environment

Ghana’s defense and environment ministers have died in a military helicopter accident in the Central Unrestors.
Chief of Staff Julius Debrah said at a press conference that Defense Minister Edward Om and Minister of Environment, Science and Technology Ibrahim Murtala Muhammad, 50, was killed in the accident, which he described as “national tragedy”.
Earlier, the Ghana Armed Forces said that the plane of three crews and five passengers had gone “away from the radar”.
According to local time (and GMT), the capital was departing from Akra, and he was going to the gold mining city, Obusi for a national event.
The authorities were not confirmed for the cause of the crash.
The staff of the staff has directed the country to fly in half-mast.
On behalf of President John Dramani Maha and the government, he expressed his condolences for the “servant who died in the country’s service.”
Ghana’s Deputy National Security Coordinator and former Agriculture Minister Alhaji Munir Mohammad was among the dead.
The crew members were named after Squadron leader Peter Bafmemy Anal, Flying Officer Manin Twim-Ampadu and Sergeant Ernest Ado Mena.
