Intel’s shares were reduced after Trump urged CEO to resign immediately

Intel President Donald Trump asked Chipmekar’s Chief Executive Officer to resign immediately.

In the social post, Trump said that Intel’s Chief Executive Lip-Bub Tan “is extremely contradictory and he should resign immediately. There is no solution to this problem.” Intel went down in the premarket at the back of that post, the last trade 5% less.

INTC drops

In March, the tan was named as the Chief Executive Officer of Intel. This week, Tom Cotton, a member of the US Republican Senate, asked questions on their relationships with Chinese companies and referred to the previous criminal case of Cadon Design, where TAN was CEO till 2021, the royators said.

Cotton wrote in Intel’s chair “To express concern over the security and integrity of Intel’s operations and its potential impact on the US national security,” said the royators said.
