More than 50 dead in the size of a ship

More than 50 migrants were killed by a boat boat on the shore off of Yemen on Sunday in bad weather.

According to the local authorities, the ships caught Abyan of the province of Abyan, southern of Yemen.

Many of the victims are believed to be a Ethiopian citizen, the International Migration Organization (IOM) said.

Yemen is a major way for Migrants traveling to the Gulf Arab states in the Horn of Africa in search of work. The IOM estimates that there have been hundreds of deaths in recent months or have gone missing on the ship.

Abdusatore Sseiv, the head of the IOM Yemen, told the Associated Press that the bodies of 54 migrants were found in the southern district of Khanfer and 14 others were taken to a hospital in Zinjibar, the provincial capital of Abian.

According to the Associated Press, the Abyan Security Directorate released a statement on a large search and rescue mission and said that many bodies have been found in wide areas of the coast.

The IOM spokesperson said the agency was “” “heartless” and emphasized the need for more safetyguards for immigrants.

He said, “This heart attack has underlined the urgent need of enhanced defense mechanisms for immigrants for immigrants by the dishonest smugglers who have exploited dangerous and insecurity,” he said.

The IOM has previously described the journey from the Horn of Africa to Yemen as “one of the most dangerous and most dangerous mixed migration routes.”

In March, two boats with more than 900 migrants were drowned on the coast of Yemen, only two crew members were rescued, and all the remaining passengers were dismissed and feared for death.

According to the IOM report, Mig immigrants coming to the immigrant response points in Yemen have said that they were more disappointed by sending boats consciously in dangerous situations to prevent people-smugglers from patrolling.

Despite the risk, many immigrants came alone in 2024 in Yemen in more than 60,000.

Over the past decade, more than 3,400 deaths and lost people were reported in the lost immigrant project – 1,400 of them were due to the death of 1,400.
