My husband’s daughter was married last week when my husband told me that she was infected with infertility. She did not want to know her fiancé, for fear of losing it. I felt bad for him. He wanted the children desperate.
I thought it was selfish, so I decided to intervene. At the wedding, she surrounded him and said: “You are about to marry her, but she keeps a secret from you. Ask her until she becomes clean.”
His reaction shocked me. Instead of facing it immediately, he just moved away, and it seems concerned. Then, I saw that he pulled it aside, and started crying. They did not announce anything to the guests, but I saw that things were tense between them.
The rest of the night felt embarrassed for me, and it was not possible to know what actually happened between them. Later, he sent me a text message saying that I had destroyed their wedding and that I had to get out of it. My husband is also upset with me, saying that I had a chaos of things.
But all I wanted is that everyone is honest with each other. Especially when making such a big decision. I feel panic now. Not sure if you do the right thing.
