President Donald Trump On Wednesday, he would raise 100% rates on the imports of semiconductor and chips, but not for companies with “building in the United States”.

In the announcement of the new sectors-specific rates, Trump has faced efforts to put pressure on businesses to make his products in the United States.

Trump said on Tuesday that duties on the chips and semiconductor, which have become important components in every industry, may come soon next week.

Trump said at the Oval office on Wednesday afternoon, “We are going to put a huge rate on the chips and semiconductor.”

“But good news for companies like Apple Pal is that if you are ready in the United States or promise to build it in the United States, without questioning, there will be no charge.”
