Two girls shot in the gaza

The BBC World Service has collected the stories of both Leyen Al-Majjalavi and Meera Tanbaura, who were killed in separate events in the area of Israeli Defense Force (IDF) in November 223.

Responding to our conclusions, the IDF said that the details of the Lyn and Mira cases have been reported and “will be examined by the competent authority by the BY”. Added: “Citizens, especially children have intentional losses.”

Leen and Mira are only two of more than 160 incidents of children shot in the war in Gaza, for whom we have collected accounts.

We found that in 95 of these cases, the child was shot over the head or chest. Of them, in 59, we obtained testimony from eyewitnesses directly or by human rights institutions and physicians. The witnesses alleged that 5 children were shot dead by IDF and two Palestine were shot – one celebrity gunfire and the other in the conflict of the gang.

The remaining 36 cases of 95, we have no account for what happened. Israel has banned foreign journalists from entering Gaza separately, and destruction and displacement combines detailing the details.

The International Committee of the Red Cross told the BBC that the world cannot accept the world as a “new normal” that can allow many children to shoot.
