WBO Abdullah Mason’s Title Application Questied by KeYshawn Davis Due to Sam Noakes Power

Davis was drawn from his 135-weight WBO title on Jun 6th when he came in 4.3 lbs over the light limit for his title defense against Edwin de Los Santos. The blank WBO belt will now be fought by #1 Mason and #2 Noakes.

Some boxing fans believe that KeysWeWan was losing weight deliberately because he did not want to hold on to his WBO title and have to fight Mason #1 and come open. Noakes have a huge power in his right hand that could give Abdullah problems if he landed it. The negative is that he is slow, robotic, and he telegraphing his punch. Noakes have only power in his right hand, and makes it obvious when he uploads on that shot. He has not yet fought against anyone, as he has been fighting in the UK his entire career against domestic -level scourists.
